1. Cocos Island Treasure, Central America
Cocos is a tiny, uninhibited island located almost 550 kilometers away from the Costa Ricaâs Pacific shore. A vast treasure is allegedly hidden here which was buried by the defiant crew of the Mary Dear in 1821. Based on the tales, the treasure is in a cave and consists of total of eleven boatlands. Ramses III was a prolific ruler of the 20th dynasty of ancient Egypt who ruled for almost 31 years. 3. The Oak Island Money Pit, Canada
The Oak Island Money Pit is a small isle off Nova Scotia and is the site of the world’s longest running hunt for treasure. The hunt began in 1795, when Daniel McGinnis paddled over from the tiny Nova Scotia to hunt game on desolate Oak Island. The treasure buried in the island is believed to be protected by a series of ingenious traps.
